Mr Kalogrianitis is a leading orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the management and surgical treatment of shoulder and elbow problems.

Minimally-invasive, contemporary, state-of-the-art arthroscopic techniques are used to accelerate the recovery process for challenging conditions such as shoulder instability, rotator cuff disease, frozen shoulder, as well as shoulder and elbow arthritis and stiffness.

Mr Kalogrianitis has a special interest in arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair and arthroscopic shoulder stabilisation techniques including arthroscopic Bankart Repair and arthroscopic Latarjet procedure.

He was appointed Consultant to the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust with a special interest in Shoulder surgery.

Mr Kalogrianitis works privately at the Priory and Edgbaston Hospital in Birmingham, the Sutton Medical Centre in Sutton Coldfield and the Spire Little Aston Hospital in Sutton Coldfield.

He maintains close links with the physiotherapy unit at the hospital to provide a continuum of rehabilitation.

Mr Kalogrianitis has been involved in clinical research resulting in publications and presentations on different aspects of shoulder and elbow surgery. He has multiple videos that are featured on the website Vumedi, which is the website equivalent of “YouTube” for surgeons.

He offers Arthroscopic Latarjet training at the UHB and he is the Course Director of the Shoulder Arthroscopy Live Surgery Course in Birmingham with the support of Arthrex.
